Giordano Dance Chicago is one of Chicago’s original jazz dance companies. Founded by Gus Giordano and currently under the leadership of Artistic Director Nan Giordano, Giordano Dance Chicago continually expands the boundaries of jazz dance, and its new works consistently receive critical and audience acclaim.

For more than 50 years, Giordano Dance Chicago has brought the excitement of American jazz dancing to audiences throughout the United States and in countries around the world. GDC also serves as host performing company at each summers Jazz Dance World Congress.

Giordano Dance Chicago has a very active outreach and education program, including school performances in the Chicago metropolitan area, a residency with the Chicago Park District, and teaching residencies on many college campuses.
