Browntrout, located on N. Lincoln Avenue, is a comfortable and casual chef-owned restaurant available for your dining needs. Browntrout is happy to accomodate groups large and small.
This restaurant is full of character and yummy food options. The menu offers two sizes of each main course: big and small. Each item is arranged with the chef’s personal touch.
Menu includes:
- Mint Creek Lamb Rack: roasted purple potato, sunchoke fondue, fava beans and lamb jus
- Brick Roasted Gunthrop Half Chicken: spring garlic spaetzle, escarole, cippollini onions and mustard jus
- Pommes Frites: fine herbs, house ketchup, gruyere fondue, mushroom chili mustard
All the herbs used in the kitchen are grown on Browntrout’s rooftop garden, and sustainably farmed or organic products are used whenever possible.
All of the restaurant?s seafood comes from natural waters or sustainable farms and all meats come from grass-fed free-range animals.
Though Browntrout has a full beer and wine list, they welcome BYOB with a $20 corkage fee and no corkage fee for bottles older than 10 years.
