See them get down on it at Festival Park, outside of Grand Victoria Casino in Elgin, where they’ll be joined by Motown’s best-selling male group of the ’70s — pop-soul legends The Commodores. The group, which originally featured Lionel Richie, has gone on to sell more than 60 million records and churn out hit after infectious hit like “Brick House,” “Machine Gun,” “Sail On,” “Slippery When Wet” and “Three Times a Lady.” Enjoy these two R&B icons — plus fireworks — on Independence Day.
