About the Artisan:
Melissa Lang grew up scrapbooking and DIYing everything she could think of, so naturally she was drawn to a path in art. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and quickly learned that the corporate world was not for her. As a nostalgic person whose heart lies in vintage memorabilia, here is often a vibe or colors from the 70s hinted at in her work. Unscripted Folk was launched in 2020 as an extension of the founder’s love to create, and dynamic color and texture is seen throughout each piece that is thoughtfully designed in Melissa’s home studio.
