The brand was founded around Creative Director Brandi Archer’s concept for a collection of high-end knitwear essentials and quickly became known for deliciously soft tees and dresses in modern but wearable silhouettes. When Nicole Puszynski joined the team as Designer, she brought a new point of view to the brand with her insistence on adding a healthy mix of woven textiles – including fluttery silks, smart twills and custom jacquards. Together, they’ve evolved Suki +Solaine into a smart, metropolitan brand known for its luxe fabrications, exclusive digital prints and facile use of line and texture.
They are a small company created, owned and operated BY WOMEN making clothing FOR WOMEN. Not only are they committed to doing what they can within the fashion industry to lessen waste and damage to the environment and put an end to unethical and unsafe working conditions, they are all around committed to the equality and empowerment of women, fellow humans and the world. 10% of your online purchase will go back to one of three charities that Suki + Solaine strongly believe in and fully support.
Suki + Solaine is headquartered in Chicago, and they pride themselves on keeping their manufacturing stateside. The design process takes place here in Chicago and they source their high-quality textiles from a variety of locales: New York, France, Turkey, Japan… just to name a few. Samples are made in their West Town studio and the majority of final products are manufactured locally, while some are finished in New York.
