Ravo Vodka – Råvo (pronounced RAH-voh) is a new “Premium Value” Vodka from Sweden. The name is derived from the Swedish words for “raw” and “vodka.”
We are excited to serve a signature cocktail featuring Ravo Vodka at StyleChicago.com’s Resolutions 2018 at the W Chicago – City Center on Friday, January 26, 2018.
This chic, affordable and honest Ravo Vodka is made from pure, all natural winter wheat. It is distilled five times through stainless steel column towers lined with ceramic filters for incredible smoothness and blended with clear spring water. In spite of all that, at the end of the day, you will still mix it with soda and limes – so why pay more?
The message flaunts the simplicity of the product. The brand is uncomplicated, straightforward and direct. Let’s be honest, it’s just vodka.
A subtle, but balanced sweetness, with a pleasantly smooth mouth feel which makes for a perfect finish.
Alc.: 40% (80 Proof)
About the vodka:
Ravo Vodka is produced in Lidköping, Sweden, by Reppe Bränneri, who are the distillers as well as proud member of Lantmannen, the Swedish Farmers Association. While Reppe is the second largest distillery in Sweden, the vodka is still made from all natural ingredients and is of the highest quality.
The Reppe distillery is located in the country of Vastergötland, a bucolic area of rural Sweden set on the edge of one of the cleanest water sources in the country and famous for its endless fields of winter wheat. Used to blend Ravo, this water is sourced from a local spring close to the distillery and then treated via reverse osmosis. Like most water sources in Sweden, this liquid is very high quality with what can be described as a fresh and soft character.
