Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, IL

The Ravinia 2019 season schedule has been announced, with ticket sales open to the public on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.

Located just 25 miles north of Chicago, Ravinia Festival Park has been a haven for music lovers for over 100 years. As North America’s oldest music festival, they showcase more than 140 year-round events including classical, pop, jazz, music theater, dance, world and kids programming.

Ravinia is primarily known as an outdoor venue with a gorgeous sprawling lawn. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs, tables, blankets and as much food and beverages as they need.

The pavilion stage is not within view of the lawn; however, with your lawn ticket, you may stand near the back or along the sides of the pavilion. Never fear, you can still hear! All concerts in the Pavilion and Martin Theatre are broadcast to the lawn via a state-of-the-art sound system.

The 36-acre park is nestled in a gently wooded area that makes it an enchanting place to experience music. Guests can bring their own picnics or eat at one of the park restaurants. Children up to age 15, high school and college students are admitted free to the lawn for classical performances.
