Paint The Town Mary by artist Mary Arroyo Ortiz hand paints geode-inspired art pieces created with pure pigments, acrylics, and inks on various sizes of tile, canvas, and wood. The pieces are embellished with glitter, crystals, and crushed glass. The iridescent paint and the glossy shine produce a lustrous glow which in turn, creates an illusion of movement depending on the lighting.

Mary creates designs in bold colors with unique characteristics. She manipulates textures to create even richer colors while discovering new results along the way. Her latest obsession is to create art tiles because of the unique boldness and vibrancy of the colors. As light hits her tile paintings from different angles, a 3-D effect is created and the paintings appear to move and almost come alive. In her oils and tiles, Mary infuses Swarovski elements to add a touch of elegance.
Paint The Town Mary art is a reflection of the artist’s emotions, experiences and things she loves.
