Michelle Starbuck Designs is a line of colorful, Art Deco inspired jewelry that is unique and affordable, and made here in Chicago. What once was a random collection of vintage charms and findings, became the first pieces in the MSD jewelry line.
This year, the collections will all be monochromatic. The Fall ’18 collection color is blue and features Lapis and brass while the Summer ’18 collection color is green and features the stones Green Aventurine, Kiwi Jasper and Malachite. The MSD designs are a blend of old and new and use a mix of vintage metals and new bronze cast pieces made using CAD design and 3D printing. From dainty stud earrings and collar length necklaces to statement earrings and pendant necklaces, there’s something for everyone.
From simple beginnings making a few pieces at a time, the collection has changed and grown into a well edited line of jewelry that balances organic and geometric design. While the business has significantly grown in the last 13 years, the original goal has remained the same. Michelle Starbuck Designs will always remain affordable, unique and handmade in Chicago.
