Mas alla del Sol is known for it’s authentic Mexican cuisine and handcrafted cocktails. Sister Restaurant to Michelin Bib Gourmand rated Los Nopales in Lincoln Square, Mas alla del Sol is a step up, emphasizing on Chef Adan Moreno’s creativity and his take on Mexican dishes.
The chef, Adan Moreno, is known for personally choosing all the ingredients used at the restaurant from the tomatillos in the salsa, the Mexican avocados for the guacamoles to the beef in the carne asada.
About Chef Adan Moreno:
Born in the State of Mexico, Adan Moreno grew up enjoying his family’s traditional Mexican cooking. At an early age he developed a passion for cooking food only using the freshest ingredients.
Adan’s passion and love for the food of his native Mexico has inspired him to create the dishes at Mas alla del Sol. He is constantly experimenting with herbs, spices, and interesting fruits and and vegetables.
Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are encouraged.
