About the creator, Huan Xia, Ph.D.
Huan has both a Master and a Doctorate degree in Food Science. She had successfully climbed the corporate ladder in big food companies over the past 10 years and held executive leadership positions that made big impacts in the companies.
About three years ago, Huan started a spiritual journey and a vegan diet and was able to gain clarity in her mind. She realized that she would never be completely happy only focusing on narrow personal success.
She felt a compelling responsibility as a food professional to bring something creative and useful for improving people’s wellbeing. Many people around Huan were victims of marketing gimmicks about hidden sugars, sweeteners, and empty calories. Health-conscious people felt jaded with buzz words while others simply gave up trying healthy foods as they appeared boring, void of flavor, time consuming, and no fun.
Huan started LusOasis Foods, quit her secure, full-time job in the midst of a global pandemic, and is on the path to pursue true happiness by creating foods that are nourishing to your ultimate wellbeing.
