Lawry’s The Prime Rib

Lawry’s The Prime Rib is an extraordinary place located in the heart of the Magnificent Mile. It is a Chicago treasure housed in the 1890’s McCormick Mansion that would become world-famous as the Kungsholm light opera theater. Reopened by Lawry’s in 1974, that history is echoed in our restaurant’s grand sweeping staircase and beautiful English manor house setting.

One of their most famous selections is the “Prime Rib” Dinner, which includes:

    • Famous Original Spinning Bowl Salad: Crisp romaine and iceberg lettuce, baby spinach, shredded beets chopped egg and croutons, tossed with their exclusive Vintage Dressing
    • Mashed Potatoes: An American favorite – whole potatoes, cooked, then whopped with milk and butter
    • Yorkshire Pudding: Baked in small skillets until puffy and golden brown
    • Whipped Cream Horseradish: Grated, fresh horseradish and seasoned whipped cream

Enter and feel invited into a world of generous spaces, comfortable elegance and warm welcome.
