With a successful company under her belt, she decidedly knows how to make it work by designing modern day jewelry from pieces dating back from the elegant 1800’s and the decadent art deco era through the fabulous ?50’s and ?60’s up to the glam ?80’s.

About Chicago-based designer Jill Alberts:
Jill Alberts, a visiting professor of American Politics at DePaul University in Chicago, has turned a hobby that had its genesis around her dining room table into a successful company selling jewelry to retailers around the world.
Domestically Alberts’ designs have been found at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Barneys New York, Henri Bendel, and numerous boutique and specialty stores throughout the country. Internationally Jill sells in Europe, Russia, and the Middle East. Alberts has been honored by Gen Art as a Fresh Face in Fashion in 2005. She was also honored by Fashion Group International as a Rising Star in 2008.
Alberts’ designs have been featured in Vogue, In-Style, Harpers Bazaar, Elle, Will and Grace, and Sex and the City. Alberts’ Jewelry has also been worn by celebrities such as Halle Berry and Sarah Jessica Parker.
