Meet & shop with Chicago-based handbag designer J. Markell at her FashionChicago pop-up shop at StyleChicago.com’s 16th season of The Art of Fashion (Runway Show) presented by Cadillac on Thursday, October 19, 2017.
J. Markell is a line of handbags and accessories that celebrates the notion of inconspicuous luxury. Founder/designer Julie Neff created the collection to fill a void in the marketplace for a line of bags that are sleek, modern and have just a hint of opulence.
The line includes:
• Bags – tote, messenger & crossbody
• Clutches – convertible in various sizes, pouches & envelope
• Accessories – bill & card holders, billfolds & wallets

J. Markell combines the rich colors and textures of authentic exotic skins with high quality leather to create pieces that are as versatile as they are beautiful. One of the best things about Julie’s designs is that they can easily transition from day to night, making them ideal for a woman’s busy lifestyle.
Designed for the woman who appreciates luxury and excellent workmanship, the bags are made from crocodile, eel, python and stingray skins.
All J. Markell products are environmentally friendly. Every design is made using by-products of a food source, never harming any animals.
