Indy Fiber Arts, from artisan Leah Del Nagro, offers one-of-a-kind handmade wearable art. You may find your perfect patterned or textured woven scarf in cotton or bamboo, funky knit wear created with handspun yarn, hand dyed and painted silks, or an edgy felt scarf. Unique, woven and upcycled items include bracelets, small purses, and clamshell cases.
Meet & shop with the Leah of Indy Fiber Arts at the Chicago Artisan Market on Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 10am-4pm at Morgan MFG (401 N. Morgan St.), where she will join 100+ top artisans in food, fashion, home goods + art.
All items are created using custom dyed wool and silk, handspun yarn, commercial and novelty yarn in combinations that guarantee each item is original. Leah dyes all the silks by hand utilizing multiple techniques.
Baby blankets and more home goods, including table runners and pillows, are being added to the Indy Fiber Arts collection.
Leah Del Nagro is a graphic designer and marketer, but fiber arts is her creative outlet – her healthy addiction that allows Leah to play, de-stress, and socialize all at the same time.
