Heather takes vintage paper (typically over fifty-years old!) found in maps, books, stamps, and more, and manipulates it to create a new piece. Embellished with calligraphy, all the lettering is hand done by Heather in her home studio. She uses a variety of inks and tools to create her entirely unique pieces perfect for the home or office, or as gifts.
Feather Lettering will debut homemade holiday ornaments that Heather will personalize on-site for customers while they shop.
Heather is a self-taught lettering artist and calligrapher, based in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Someone once called her a “letterist” and she liked that so much, she decided to keep it.
