The Chicago Underground Film Festival stands apart from other independent film festivals for promoting films that are radically different from and challenge the ?indie? or commercial mainstream.
Carrying into its 15th year, the Festival defines itself as the alternative for underground, independent and experimental film and video.
The Festival?s selection committee opens all submissions to the public, thus ensuring that the films showcased are made for and by the people.
Attendees can expect to view films in the following eclectic categories: Narrative Feature, Narrative Short, Documentary Feature, Documentary Short, Experimental, Animation, Children?s Film, Music Video, and ?Made in Chicago?.
