The Irish know how to throw a good party and the Chicago Irish Film Festival is a large one celebrating amazing cinema.
Started in 2000, the festival showcases feature films, documentaries, shorts and animation that celebrate Irish culture.
Past films have included Meeting Che Guevera and the Man from Maybury Hill a short from Anthony Byrne, Teeth by John Kennedy about two men and their dentures, and Imagination a feature film by Aoife Greenham about a couple who meet in a colorless world.
Past guests have included Milo O?Shea, a Tony Award Winner, Colm Meany, and producer Barry Dignam.
So, enjoy a pint of Guiness and the best that Irish Film has to offer at the next Chicago Irish Film Festival.
