Chicago Hot Dog Fest is celebrating its fifth year on August 11-13, 2017 and has become the largest festival in the world to honor the red hot. The Chicago-style hot dog is second to none, celebrating over 100 years as a much loved and celebrated part of Chicago?s local cuisine.
More than 30,000 people attend to relish the interesting twists and unique red hot recipes from more than a dozen vendors, who are serving up both traditional and new, exciting takes on the standard. With more than 35,000 hot dogs served each year ? there?s something on the menu for everyone.

While fans fill up on mouthwatering encased meats, cold beer and decadent desserts, a tasty lineup of local and touring bands will take the Main Stage to keep the party moving. Hot dog historians, epicureans and authors will provide fascinating fun facts and stimulating presentations on the Speaker Stage, while family-friendly performances entertain the youngsters throughout the weekend.
