About the Artist:
In the summer of 2011, Catherine started making collages using upcycled newspaper. Inspired by her childhood summers spent in northern Michigan, her first pieces are of her favorite Leelanau County views and experiences. A decade later, Catherine continues to use only recycled, colored newspaper to capture places unique to her and the images she dreams up.
