In February of 2010, Chicago fine artist Sarah deHebreard turned her focus from painting pictures to making lip balm, and the Bonnie brand of skincare was born. Drawing on her experience as an artist, Sarah’s products adopt the philosophy that skincare can be realized as a form of fine art.
As a small business with a big heart, Bonnie is guided by the belief that luxurious natural skin care, like fine art, should be within everyone’s reach.
Today, Sarah’s full product line includes:
• Body Balm Candles – Pure soy wax blended with shea and cocoa butters. The candle melts into a warm liquid you can use to deeply moisturize dry skin.
• Body & Facial Care – Creams, balms, scrubs, serums, moisturizers & masks
• Bath Care – Bubble Bath, Salts, Cleansers, Soaks & Bath Teas
All artwork on Bonnie Lip Balm labels is original art by owner Sarah deHebreard.
Best sellers include Superbalm, Body Balm Candles, and Tinted Lip Balm.
We’re excited to be featuring Bonnie along with 100+ of Chicago’s finest artisans in food, fashion, home goods + art at the Chicago Artisan Market at Morgan Manufacturing (401 N. Morgan St., Chicago) on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 10am-4pm.
Utilizing both a creative and analytic eye, Sarah deHebreard is constantly developing new formulas with a focus on sensitive skin and searching for new and interesting ways to combine nature and science. All products are made by hand in small batches, focusing closely on consistency and quality.
As a self-described micro-manager with an eye for detail, Sarah handles every aspect of Bonnie on her own – including graphic and web design, product development, marketing, raw ingredients, production and packaging – all done in Chicago.
