Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation “A Walk for the Bear” Annual Costume Walk | October 20, 2019

Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation will host A Walk for the Bear, its 6th Annual Costume Walk on Sunday, October 20 at 9:00 a.m. in Lincoln Park. Trick-or-treat and walk the 3-mile trail dressed as your favorite warlock, witch or wizard to honor of children who are fighting and those who have lost their battle to pediatric cancer with all funds raised benefitting pediatric cancer research grants through Bear Discoveries and customized experiences through Bear Hugs. The Halloween fun will continue with pumpkin decorating, costume contests and a boxed lunch after the walk.

Cost: Adults (19 and older): $25 | Children (under 19): $15 | Children (under 5): Free

All children be must be accompanied by an adult.

Parking is first come first serve the day of the Walk. We recommend using public transportation or carpooling to the event. If you need to drive to the event, please be advised that traffic may be congested due to the large number of participants, so please plan accordingly.
