| Set in the north end of Millennium Park, the Harris Theater for Music and Dance is the venue of choice for many of Chicago's finest dance companies, orchestras and musical ensembles.
The Harris Theater's mission is to "attract broader, larger and more diverse audiences; encourage artistic synergy; and increase opportunities to offer educational programs."
The theater has a large glass entrance and lobby on Randolph St., but most of the theater, including its 1,525 seat auditorium, is underground. Patrons have direct access to the Millennium Park garage through the theater.
The Harris Theater was designed by the architectural firm of Hammond Beeby Rupert Ainge, Inc.
