The Cornservatory is named after Corn Productions, a provocative theater company dedicated to offering reasonably priced one-act plays, music monologues and comedy sketches.
Serving as the home of Corn Productions, The Cornservatory produces comedic musicals, serious dramatic productions and children’s plays all under the same roof.
The Cornservatory also includes a separate kid’s theater program to target the younger theater enthusiasts of Chicago.
Since The Cornservatory’s inauguration in 1999, Corn Productions has grown into a company that offers a wide variety of award-winning entertainment.
Past productions have included the popular musical Floss!, God’s Mistake, Aunt Nancy and The Bad Seed – the Musical .
