Family-owned and operated since 1969, Poster Plus is Chicago’s oldest gallery of its kind and remains one of the most comprehensive, offering custom framing, restoration and consulting services, as well as a museum shop. They deal with private and corporate clients both nationally and internationally, along with casual shoppers, art lovers, and museum patrons.
Original vintage poster inventory ranges from 1890s European advertising and American travel posters to World War propaganda, circus posters, and a terrific collection of Chicago-themed posters from the World's Fair to 1920s transit posters, sporting events and art exhibitions.
Poster Plus is also active in the Chicago community, rotating its collection to complement local events, festivals and exhibitions, as well as offering free consultation and estimate service for businesses in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. They have performed conservation and restoration work for The Chicago Historical Society, The Polish Museum of America, The Library of Congress and important private collections.
