Facials & Skin Treatments - Pan G Lift

Spotlight: The Pan G Lift
The Non-Surgical Facelift

Some people are scared off by the idea of surgery. There's the anesthesia and the potential for bruising, swelling, and scarring. And let's not forget the temporary pain factor. Now there's a non-surgical procedure called the Pan G Lift.

Commonly treated areas include:
  • jowl lines
  • eyebrow/eyelid area
  • cheeks
  • midface
Explore the three parts of the Pan G Lift below and learn how this practically pain-free, non-surgical face lift can help you.

The Pan G Lift is a three-part, non-surgical face lift that helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and can also help with flabby jowls, frown lines and skin hydration.

Dr. R. Stephen Mulholland, pioneer of the Pan G Lift, says the process is unique because it penetrates deep within the skin.

"It's similar to a layered onion," he says of the first part of the process's ability to lift dead cells and get beneath the skin. "It's like taking slats off of a roof."

The fact that it has three components to treat all the layers of the skin sets it apart form other treatments, explains local board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Amy Forman Taub from Advanced Dermatology.

With instant results, the Pan G Lift is a popular choice among women between the ages of 30 and 55, although many men get the procedure done as well.

"I personally don't like to be in pain," says board-certified dermatologist and skin cancer surgeon Dr. F. Victor Rueckl of Lakes Dermatology in Las Vegas.

"That's why I like procedures such as the Pan G Lift. There is no pain, no downtime, and good results," he adds.

According to its backers, what makes the Sonopeel part of the Pan G Lift different from chemical peels and microdermabrasion is it's more hydrating and potentially less abrasive because no dry crystals are used like in typical microdermabrasion.

The process is normally completed in twenty, one-hour sessions over ten weeks and includes 20 myofacials, five sonopeels and five sonofacials.

Some sessions take as little as 15 minutes, and the maximum time for all three procedures takes 70 minutes.

Part 1: SonoPeel

The SonoPeel is a form of microdermabrasion that helps remove dead, dry skin. "Most people compare this to a painless, mini microdermabrasion," Rueckl says. "However, with the warm, misty water, it's soothing and soft; there are no crystals and no mess afterwards."

A wand is applied to your face where it oscillates over the surface of your skin, sloughing off keratinocyte, which is what makes up approximately 90 percent of your skin.

Because the SonoPeel is not overly abrasive, there is little pain involved in this part of the Pan G Lift procedure.

Part 2: SonoFacial

The SonoFacial comes after the SonoPeel and delivers nutrients deep into the skin. The SonoPeel prepares the face for the SonoFacial, as it is now ready to absorb nutrients better.

The SonoFacial is applied over the face with a stick and comes in the form of a clear-like gel.

"We push topical skincare products in now that the barrier has been thinned," Mulholland explains.

The SonoFacial is important because it can get deeper into the skin than regular topical treatments and is delivered ultrasonically. What you can expect is to feel a smooth, warm gel glide over your face.

Part 3: MyoFacial

This part of the treatment is what causes the lifting effect, by lifting muscles to contract (like excercising) it results in increased volume and lifting features, explains Taub.

Done through electrical and radio waves, the MyoFacial is the last component to the Pan G Lift.

Rueckl says, "Although all muscles in the face are targeted, people most often notice their eyebrows and jawline first."

Once this process is complete, your skin will look and feel younger, more rejuvenated and fresh.

The Results

After receiving the Pan G Lift, your face is supposed to appear tighter and smoother around the jowl lines and eyebrow area. The surface of your skin should also be smoother and appear more youthful.

"Your skin looks AMAZING after a pan G Lift treatment. There is no downtime at all. We have clients that do this treatment immediately before a wedding or celebration so that they can look their best for their event," says Taub.

Monthly maintenance is required after receiving the Pan G Lift, so be prepared to receive treatments after the process.

Patients should return every every 3-6 weeks for at least a Myofacial. However the full Pan G Lift booster, which includes the myofacial, sonopeel and sonofacial, would be most beneficial to keep up your new look.
